What a saga! What a finale! The more I re-discover it, the more I enjoy it.
The practical effects and sets in this are an absolute delight to watch. It is a good reminder that Christopher Nolan is absolutely right when he says practical effets are better than CGIs (and a good reminder that in the 80s this was made casually and without pretention in such an entertaining movie).
